Raised in the steel town of Pittsburgh, Will Hollis' love for film began at an early age. By the age of 3, he already knew how to work a VCR, beginning his fondness for movies... until he shoved a peanut butter sandwich into the VCR slot. This love of film has followed him from childhood into college.
In 2017, he enrolled in a bachelor's program in Cinema and Media Studies. His first directing project was a spec commercial shot in the freezing cold, having just learned to work the camera that day. At the end of his first semester, he made "Main Street", a musical love story shot in the streets of Carnegie. Later that summer, “Main Street” was featured at the "Carnegie Screenwriters Script and Screen Festival". He graduated from Point Park University in 2019.
After film school, he joined the Wick Monet artist collective as a filmmaker. He then created his first professionally produced film, “A Brand New Day”, a short film about a simple argument that pushes a couple's relationship to its limit. He is continuing to create films from start to finish, writing, directing, and producing one-of-a-kind works.
