I use art as a way to connect, create conversation and community, and to heal. My art works through emotions such as grief and anger, creates commentary on society and justice issues, and also highlights the journey of identity and reclaiming self. In many of my 3D works, I also use a revisiting theme of pairing life with objects that mimic life.

The artist is shown sitting on the bench while another image of herself sits next to her, comforting her.
